The biometric registration exercise for 2018 hajj has commenced for intending pilgrims from Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
The registration is being carried out by a firm assigned by the Saudi Arabian government for the exercise in Abuja before issuance of visa.
A statement by the Spokesperson of the Board, Muhammad Lawal Aliyu disclosed that Intending Pilgrims from Bwari and Abuja Municipal Area Councils (AMAC) would be captured this Thursday 13/07/18 at the Rivers house located at Central Business District, Abuja.
Muhammad Lawal added that intending pilgrims from Kuje and Gwagwalada Area councils would have their biometric capture exercise on Friday 14th of July, 2018.
The Public Relations Officer also advised Intending Pilgrims from Kwali and Abaji area councils to be present for the exercise on Monday 16th July, 2018 at the venue, while those from the headquaters would get their biometric captured on Tuesday 17/07/18.
He stated that all intending pilgrims who have completed their payment should see their Area Officers at the venue for the collection of their e-passport before proceeding for the exercise.
He warned that the exercise is a mandatory aspect of visa processing application for hajj this year and failure to participate would disqualify the intending pilgrim from performing the hajj.
