The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria has released the results of Pre Qualification exercise carried on the 144 Tour Operator Companies for the 2018 Hajj.
This was contained in a statement signed by Adamu Abdullahi, NAHCON Chief Information Officer.
Head of Tour Operators Unit of the Commission,Alidu Shutti explained that the Screening Committee set up by the Chairman/CEO National Hajj Commission, Barr.Abdullahi Mukhtar Muhammad, has approved the 90 Applicant Companies that meet the criteria set by NAHCON to participate in the 2018 Hajj exercise.
Some of the Indices used are: Past performance of the applicant Companies,Validity of their IATA,Tax Clearance,Corporate Affairs Certificates as well as inputs from relevant government agencies.
However 54 Companies have the opportunity to appeal on the outcome of the exercise to the Chairman/CEO not later than Friday 2nd February 2018.
The formal Letter of Appeal should be addressed to the Chairman/CEO of the Commission.
