The new rules have permitted a group of four women over 45 years to perform the Hajj rituals without Mahram, i.e., taking help from husband or any mal male blood relative
A total of 1230 pilgrims would be taking the flight on Saturday. Around 376 passengers boarding the SV 5916 flight departing at 7.55 am are travelling on special quota without Mahram and the SV 5920 at 9.55 am has 375 women passengers. There would be 333 women passengers travelling without Mahram on t on the SV 5924 flight at 10.55 pm.
Around 1308 pilgrims are travelling under this category from India, of which 1124 are from Kerala. The accommodation has been arranged for the pilgrim in Mecca and Medina
These women pilgrims will be staying together in the Mina tents also. They could also avail the service of the women volunteers from Kerala. …
