Officials of the Bauchi State Muslims Pilgrims Welfare Board have commenced a state wide tour to enlighten intending pilgrims on preparation for 2018 hajj exercise,
Chairman of the Board Surveyor Ibrahim Saidu jahun(Galadiman Bauchi) who leads the delegation visited Bauchi Central senatorial zone comprising Danbam,Misau,Darazo,warji,Ningi and Ganjuwa LGAs, according to statement signed by the boards Spokeperson, Mohd Sani Yunusa
Speaking in Danbam, Saidu Ibrahim “explained that the visit was to seek for the support of stakeholders at the Local Government level on the need to enlighten intending pilgrims to pay to pay their hajj deposits in good time”
The executive Secretary of the Board Alhaji Abdullahi Magaji Hardawa, said Bauchi State under Governor M..A Abubakar had recorded successes during the last hajj exercise which earned the state Grade A Hajj license from the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria.
Alhaji Hardawa said in order to consolidate on the successes; all hand must be on desk to ensure timely deposit of hajj fares by intending pilgrims in order to achieve the desired objective.
“HRH Alh. AHMED SULAIMAN, Emir of Misau lends his support towards enlightening his subjects on the forthcoming hajj.
The emir represented by the Chiroman Misau Alh. Ahmadu Ahmadu, directed Imams, District and Ward Heads to embark on intensive awareness in their respective areas in order to meet the dateline of 12th March 2018.”
Alh. Sulaiman commended the foresight of the Board for embarking on the visit and reiterated his cooperation whenever the need arises.
Alh.Abdullahi Hardawa warned that in the event a depositor fail to meet up, it is expected that the payment of 1.5 Million should be made on or before 12th March 2018.
