The religious ministry of Pakistan has informed the senate of Pakistan that Saudi Arabia agreed to abolish umrah tax of SR 2,000 on Pakistan Pilgrims. This follow the request made by Pakistan Prime Minister Imram Khan when he visited Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed Bin Salman.
Pakistan is not only the country that has enjoy this waiver, Egypt and Turkey Umrah repeaters within one year are also excluded from paying the SR 2,000.
According to the ministry of religious affair of Pakistan, the decision has already been taken by reign affairs of Saudi in coordination with the ministry of hajj.
