Kogi gets 719 slots for 2018 hajj



The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has allocated 719 hajj slots to Kogi State for the 2018 pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia.

The Public Relations Officer of the Kogi State Hajj Commission, Isah Abdulrahman, who disclosed this in a statement in Lokoja, said that the registration of all intending pilgrims for the exercise had commenced in earnest and would close on March 15.

The statement advised all intending pilgrims who had deposited any amount with the Commission to update their payments to the 2017 hajj fare of N1,540, 000 by the end of February while all fresh payments for this year’s hajj with effect from February 2018 would be N1,540,000 pending the announcement of this year’s hajj fare by NAHCON.

The Commission also urged all intending pilgrims to come along with their E-passports, National Identification Numbers and certified medical fitness reports for their documentation.
