NAHCON Hails Saudi Govt. For Compact Service To Pilgrims
The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has commended the Saudi Arabian authorities for their compact service to pilgrims in the current Hajj operation in the Holy land.
NAHCON Coordinator in Madinah Ahmed Maigari gave the commendation at a meeting between representatives of various countries and the Governor of Madinah, Faisal bin Abdulaziz, in Madinah.
Maigari was among representatives of four countries chosen to address the meeting attended by top diplomats in Saudi Arabia.
He said NAHCON was satisfied with Saudi’s relationship, especially it’s services at passport collection centres and pilgrims’ entry points into the Holy land.
Maigari said: “Things are now made easier for us in relating with the authorities and improvement of pilgrims’ welfare.’’
The governor had earlier at the dinner expressed appreciation to the countries for their cooperation which had resulted in improved relationships.
He urged the countries to engage in team work to enhance the Hajj operations generally.
Other countries allowed to speak at the events were Pakistan, Indonesia and Malaysia.
